Flower Box | Antique From Occupied Japan

Gorgeous antique hinged metal box with a carved flower in vase detail. 

Treasure keeper full of secrets. 

Beautiful Embellished Collectible from 1940's.  Made in Occupied Japan.

Note this Jewellery Box is very delicate.

The hinges are brittle, and there are some noticeable markings on the box underside.  There are light markings from a possible lining (inside) that has since been removed (see photos).  Deep natural patinated metal. 

The inside of this box has been Re-Freshed with a loose white fabric padding to safely store your precious gems on.  This fabric removes easily.
